List your business
THE QUICK ANSWER

Tell people what they will find and give them one clear action: listen, view, follow or enquire. A public post can promote work beyond a traditional shop or company.

A business directory can also introduce a creator’s work, a community or a useful project. Today’s Big Deal accepts those forms of promotion in their relevant categories. Your page should make the work understandable and lead to a public destination you control or are authorised to share.

Explain what people can discover

Podcasts should name their subject and who an episode may interest. Artists can describe commissions or available work. Communities should explain their purpose and who organises them. News projects should make sources and publication context clear. Avoid a vague description that leaves visitors guessing what to do next.

Choose a useful public destination

Send visitors to the show, portfolio, channel or contact that matches your description. Check the link without relying on a private login. Use artwork and clips you have permission to publish, and avoid personal contact details for people who have not agreed to them being public.

Create and share your page

Pick the appropriate category, such as Podcasts, Music, Art & design, Videos & channels or Communities & causes. Add your description, photos and public link or contact. The current listing fee is UGX 10,000 once. Save the private management link and use the public page when sharing your work.

Measure the action you wanted people to take

Track views and destination clicks, then check the receiving channel for listeners, followers or enquiries. Those systems may measure activity differently, so do not equate every click with a new follower. A higher board position is optional and does not guarantee audience growth or endorsement.

Common questions

What does the listing fee pay for?

The current one-time fee is UGX 10,000. It publishes a shareable page with up to five photos, a description, location and contact button after payment confirmation. No website or account is required. Save the private management link to update your post.

Do I have to pay for a higher board position?

No. A position bid is optional and separate from the listing fee. For a new post, checkout shows the listing fee plus your chosen bid together. Existing posts can bid later without paying another listing fee.

Will I get customers or appear first on Google?

Neither is guaranteed. Relevant public posts can appear in our buyer guides, and public pages can be discovered by search engines. Indexing and ranking are decided by the search service. Track views and link clicks, then record enquiries, bookings and sales separately.
