About Today’s Big Deal
A place to make your work visible.
Today’s Big Deal was created by Allan Tumuhimbise for people who want to promote a business, service, account, podcast or project in Uganda. A post gives visitors photos, a description and a way to contact the advertiser directly.
The idea came from SenteMe.
While building SenteMe, Allan noticed that some contributors used business names in the public donation records. They were supporting a cause while also giving people a chance to notice their work. That observation led to a separate board where people could deliberately introduce what they offer.
What a payment buys.
The one-time listing fee is UGX 10,000. A confirmed payment makes the post public. A higher board position is an optional additional purchase, and new posts pay the listing fee and chosen-position bid together. Positions are paid placement, not ratings, endorsements or verification. Payment does not guarantee visitors, enquiries, sales or search visibility.
Read how listing and positions work, including what happens when another payment takes a position.
How our guides are prepared.
Our guides help visitors describe their requirements, compare offers and contact advertisers. They are prepared with AI assistance and checked against the platform’s features and payment rules. They are general comparison checklists, not firsthand reviews of the providers shown on the board or professional advice.
Each guide carries its publication update date. Relevant posts are selected from currently published, paid promotions using their public descriptions and, where relevant, their advertised area. Advertisers supply their own information; ask them to confirm availability, credentials, prices and coverage. We do not invent reviews, provider test results or market prices.
Corrections and support.
If a guide is inaccurate or a post is misleading, contact [email protected]. Posts have a reporting option, and misuse can lead to removal, including after payment. See our community and payment rules and privacy policy.
